From Manhattan to Montauk, Denise R. Schoen has developed a distinguished career in the fields of zoning, planning, land use, environmental, and municipal and real estate law. Denise’s career in law began after she was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1998 and admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She started her law career in the litigation department of Dewey & LeBoeuf in Manhattan where she worked on corporate litigation matters.
After several years in the city, Denise moved back to her hometown of East Hampton where she gratefully served as an Assistant East Hampton Town Attorney representing both the Zoning Board and Planning Board. Denise later joined the firm Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo LLP in Riverhead and East Hampton where her practice was concentrated on land use and planning matters along with residential real estate transactions. Denise became partners with former East Hampton High School classmates, Jonathan Tarbet and Brian Lester, in April of 2007. After six years of building a large network of loyal clients with partners, Jon Tarbet and Brian Lester, in Amagansett, Denise set down roots in her hometown of East Hampton upon opening her own law practice, The Law Offices of Denise R. Schoen, PLLC. She has continued to serve her own clientele through that practice alongside her dedicated Paralegal, Astrid Edwards. Denise decided to join forces with The Adam Miller Group in March of 2022 and expand her reach even further.
